ERP Software News regarding Sage PFW 2011

Posted by Robert Baran on Tue, Aug 30, 2011 @ 05:54 PM

This past July, at Sage Summit - Sage's annual customer and partner conference, Sage unveiled some exciting new features included in Sage PFW 2011. From MSDS and credit card integration with Sage Payment Solutions, to new Business Intelligence capabilities, it’s now easier than ever to monitor profitability and make informed decisions. These new enhancements provide an easy way to extract data into Excel and produce dashboards with KPIs (key performance indicators) in seconds!

In order to avoid extensive changes for each new version release, the Sage PFW team will publish quarterly updates to the application after the release of version 2011. Updates will include important tools such as:

  • Vendor insights
  • Inventory insights
  • Landed cost
  • Historical payables
  • Extended functionality for Business Intelligence and other tools
  • And more!

Sage is also in the process of developing paths for customers who need to migrate to a different solution. These paths will include reduced fees for software and tools to migrate data efficiently and with little down time. The first path that has been released for Sage PFW customers is the migration to Sage ERP Accpac. In an effort to align our strategies with Sage's as select Sage partners, PositiveVision has added Sage ERP Accpac to our portfolio.
