Sage Announces Official Retirement date for Sage PFW ERP Software

Sage-PFW-ERP-retirementSage has announced that Sage PFW will be retired effective March 31, 2014.

Why?  Sage PFW was written on a platform that is no longer being supported by Microsoft. So what does this mean for companies using Sage PFW?  Right now this means that you can still use your Sage PFW system and we will be able to support you. However, you will need to be looking at another solution down the road.– but PositiveVision can and will help you through this entire process.

Our immediate recommendation is that on plan customers stay on plan to ensure continuing support for their business-critical Sage PFW system as they consider migration options. Customers will also continue to receive product updates, as well as a higher trade-in value through the Sage Investment Protection Program and dual-system support during the migration process.

We also strongly encourage companies using Sage PFW to contact us as soon as possible to discuss your needs, options, and to develop a game plan.  Although Sage will discontinue support for this product, we can continue to support you and possibly even help extend the life of your system.  However, that will take some advance planning, and we strongly suggest that planning process start now.  It also makes sense to know what all of your options are.

Contact us so we can discuss your options, and develop a plan that will work for your companies needs.
